Rapheal Davis was born out of Los Angeles California and is currently now fighting out of Costa Mesa, California. Coming out of a wrestling background his strengths are great conditioning and strong wrestling skills. He has multiple workouts throughout the day consisting of boxing, jiu-jitsu, strength training and conditioning. He is also part of Frank Shamrock's Professional Submission Fighting Team.

MMASTARS: What are your thoughts on Frank Shamrock?

RD: He is a great motivator. I love getting a rise out of him... which always leads to something interesting.

MMASTARS: When and why did you start fighting MMA?

RD: I started in 2006 just because I still had a desire to compete about a year after retiring from the sport of wrestling. So here I am...

MMASTARS: What ranks and titles have your earned?

RD: I don't have any MMA titles yet, but I was a multiple time All-American in wrestling both at the Collegiate and Senior National Level.

MMASTARS: What is your favorite technique?

RD: I am really partial to guillotines these days. Mostly because people don't expect an acoomplished wrestler to have much of a jiu-jitsu game... oh and plus I can plan on cathcing Frank in one sometime real soon.

MMASTARS: What was your job before you started fighting and do you currently maintain that position?

RD: I am currently a firefighter in the city of Los Angeles.
