Born out of Hillsbaro, Pennslyvania Jeremy Tavares has come a long way in his travels in becoming an up and rising MMA star. While still a young child, he moved to Pasadena. Then he moved up to San Jose, California where he now currently trains at Shamrock Martial Arts Academy on the professional Shamrock Submission Fighting Team.

MMASTARS: What are your thoughts on Frank Shamrock?
JT: He's a kind-hearted man with an undersatnding of ways of life and its obstacles. He's down to earth, funny, and a very passionate person. He's the only man i look up to in life. He is the greatest MMA fighters to step in the Octagon. It's an honor to be a part of his team and gym. He gave me a chance that my own family has never given me-- the chance to prove myself.
MMASTARS: Do you hae a hero, if so, who? And why?
JT: My MOM. Growing up she was both my Dad and my Mom. She kept the clothes on my back and food in my stomach.
MMASTARS: What is your favorite technique?
JT: The Ground & Pound, to a submission because it's the most effective.
MMASTARS: Outside of MMA, what are your hobbies?
JT: Watching movies & the great outdoors
MMASTARS: What do you consider your greatest strengths to be?
JT: Heart, determination, and no fear.
