Alexander Trevino was born in Great Falls, Montana and was raised out of Montague, Michigan. For the past year he has taken up MMA as a lifestyle. He's dedicated his time to creating a career for himself in MMA. Trevino had the distinct pleasure of being a part of Frank Shamrock's reality series, "School of Hard Knocks" and is now also part of the Shamrock Submission Fighting Team.

On June 27th, 2008 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California Spider had his second MMA fight at Strikeforce 10. Coming off of his win the month before in Santa Rosa at Cage Combat against Justin Farmer--Spider once again stuns the audience with a classic textbook armbar submission just within the first thirty-seven seconds of the first round!!!!

MMASTARS: What are your thoughts on Frank Shamrock?

AT: He's the best! He gave me the oppotrunity of a lifetime.

MMASTARS: Do you have any hobbies/interests outside of fighting?

AT: Dancing, Video games.

MMASTARS: How did you get started in MMA?

AT: I wanted to spar and I had little money. The closest gym around was a martial arts gym.

MMASTARS: Do you have a hero, if so, who? And why?

AT: My mom and dad. My mom showed me how to dream big and my dad showed me how to work hard.

MMASTARS:What is your favorite technique?

AT: The one that works.

MMASTARS:Who is the most motivational person in your life and why?

AT: My father, because he enables me to chase my dreams. And shows me how to work really hard.
